Everything here is free, and will stay free. That does not mean it costs nothing.
Hosting the LibreHub applications is paid every month.
No Hub application shows ads, sells data, asks for a subscription or locks a feature behind a payment. That is a stance, not a business model: the hosting bill still arrives.
If you use these applications and want them to stay this way, a donation contributes directly. It unlocks no right, no option, no badge — everyone already has everything.
A monthly donation, even a small one, beats a large one: a bill that arrives every month is covered by income that arrives every month. Stop it whenever you like.
Payment happens on the provider's own site. LibreHub never sees, records or stores any banking data.
What a donation does not change
- The catalog
- No listing is promoted for money. The order stays that of the index.
- Reviews
- They come from the accounts that post them. A donation neither removes nor adds any.
- Applications
- Complete, with no paid account and no usage limit. That is the Hub's rule, not a launch offer.
You can also help without paying: suggest an idea, post an honest review of an application you use, or publish one.
